Sunday, December 7, 2014 - The wave is cresting on this one. Luscious legs with great volume, but picking up bricking around the edges. The bouquet and palate offer more tar and creosote notes than the black fruits I remembered in previous tastings. And the finish tends toward prune and port-like qualities. Still a big bruiser (15.2 abv); just wish more of the fruit would have held. Drink up.
