2001 Flam Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

Community Tasting Note

88 Points

Saturday, April 13, 2013 - Blind tasting. Nice Cabernet nose, elegant, with plums and almost zero green notes that are typical for Israel for me, thus I was not sure if this was a new world wine or not. Medium-full bodied, silky red plum with just the desired amount of ripeness to offer elegance. Smooth and nice. This is a great example of doing the right thing versus some over doing that some of the Flam competitors are doing. Nice mature Israeli. Respect. 88 points.
