Thursday, November 24, 2011 - Popped and let breath for 2 hours prior to Thanksgiving dinner. Drinking from Riedel Oregon pinot noir stems, aroma of faint earth and cherry. Took some additional time in the glass to fully open, lightly complex w/flavors of cherry, spice and strawberry. Balanced w/some tannic backbone, could last for several more years. Very good.
