Sunday, February 8, 2015 - Red with some fading. Gentle red fruit aromas with wet earth, later joined by clove spice. Light to medium weight. Strawberry rather than raspberry fruit that is naturally sweet but not confected, offset by soil tones. Little remaining tannin and the acidic structure is invisible as well. Perfectly mature at this point, much less raspy than when last tasted 4 years ago, and a highly enjoyable drink-understated and subtle.
