Thursday, September 6, 2012 - Just opened, a mite medicinal in its nose, a bit of earth... this is Chardonnay from WA and not from the Loire Valley? Nice color, warm pale amber, bright citrus taste with a bright finish. A bit acidic but not unpleasant. Still needs time to open but quite satisfying. more than satisfying. (update -- after 30 minutes it has lost much of its medicinal nose and now is more of a true Chard. Finish far more complex and more satisfying... Now 89-90-- Dr. M's update).
