Sunday, June 28, 2015 - The color is ruby-garnet, opaque, with some purple hints at the rim, slight haze and dark, dense, opaque robe. The smells are crushed berries, stone, earth, coffee, floral notes, and currants. The tastes are cherry, espresso, raspberry, dark chocolate, jammy fruit, and some notes of wood. The tannins are formidable but do not detract from this delicious wine.
