Monday, July 1, 2013 - Medium red-garnet, much bricking, heavy sedimentation. Earthy and fully mature nose, principally leather and mixed garrigue with modest raspberry. On entry, lively acidity (surprising for such a warm dry harvest and strict selection) and low tannin support beef broth and green peppercorn flavors. Not much fruit in the tangy finish, but the finish is where this wine shines today. Drink now, this bottle is far more mature than the one from a year ago. Bottle #9 of twelve.
