Fullbodied and smooth on the palate with some tannins gripping a bit. Chewy palate with ripe red to dark Tempranillo fruit, iron-like notes, tomato purée, vanillary oak and slight herbaceousness. Lengthy finish with slight volatility.
Pretty nice modernish Rioja - though ideally I'd like to see more structure and less of both oak and ripe fruit. Drinking well already.
