Sunday, May 3, 2015 - Truly fantastic stuff, with a very classy, powerful, Bordeaux-like nose of black fruit and cedar and herb, quite dense and ripe (not overripe at all, and I'm glad not to see any heat or prune notes in this which are quite common in Bandol from a good year). 90-95% Mourvedre, partial de-stem, long maceration, large oak casks. Very, very well-composed.
