Saturday, May 28, 2016 - Youthful appearance with clear, medium intensity, lemon color.

Slightly developing nose with a medium(+) intensity. A bit closed right off the bat but came around nicely after two hours of decanting. Lovely tropical fruit, grilled lemon, crunchy green apple, cap gun smoke, crushed rocks and perfectly balance oak. Developing more baking spice, butter and toasted nuts with time.

Medium bodied with medium(+) acidity. Medium(+) intensity of flavors but still rather tight knit on the palate. The flavors showing no signs of development with green apple galore, unripe tropical fruit, tart lemon juice and some hints of butter and vanilla on the very end.

A truly great wine that still needs aging to show off it's full potential.
