Monday, May 25, 2015 - Fruit, pepper, herbs (lavender, sage, bay, rosemary), garrigue, violets, rust, dustiness, minerals, and smoke on the bouquet. The wine drinks like it smells, adding notes of baking spices and enhanced fruitiness. Medium acid, light to medium tannin, balanced. This somewhat modern CdP cannot hide its Old World roots. Highly enjoyable! Drinking very well now and should continue to through 2022+.
