Wednesday, November 12, 2014 - Reminds me of an aged Bordeaux. Dark almost opaque red, nose needed time to open up to plum and a little leather. Medium weight, but elegant mouth feel, plummy and fine tannins. Maybe near the end of its prime, but it went very well with beef tenderloin and dark chocolates.
