Monday, September 22, 2008 - Double decanted for about 2 hours. Deep plum fruit, espresso, leather and asphalt on the nose. Dense and ungiving core. Still very pronounced tannins on the finish and lacked the elegance of the 01 or 98. Maybe time will bring it around, but I'm not sure.
