Monday, May 18, 2015 - A very nice medium bodied Cotes du Rhone. Bright raspberry, black currant and tapenade all come together to generate a complex palate, which is completed with a rich spicy finish. There's excellent balance here, with enough structure and acidity to suggest this will drink nicely for a few more years. Good value at $25. Personally, I like this bright terrior driven style more than many modern ChdP cuvee's that have too much wood or over ripe fruit.
