Monday, November 25, 2013 - Another bottle from Monsieur Trimpi - noticeably lighter in color than the Lapierre. Great pinot nose, with a nice dash o' funk accenting the red berries - an overused descriptive, but this is a very Burgundian nose.

Light-bodied, red-fruited, and maybe a little thin/dilute for my tastes - the palate can't quite match the nose, but still all in a nice wine on a Monday night. We'll see if this fleshes out with some air as well.
