94 Points

Monday, February 20, 2012 - The Great Comtes Lafon, A fine wine tutured tasting with Jasper Morris MW (Berry Bros & Rudd, London): Light ,lemony colour. Restreined on the nose with floral notes. Elegant, balanced , mineral and very vibrant. Good acidity and vitality and feels like this has a lot of life ahead of it. We would go to the point of saying this has a feminine style to it. This was our favourite wine (ex Le Montrachet) and continued to evolve over the tasting. Superb. 94+ drink now but this has the capacity to go a lot more.

4 barrels made a year and since 2008 this now belongs to the Dominique Lafon label.
