Saturday, December 31, 2011 - PnP at Charlie Palmer Steak in DC. Ready to rock with no decant, though it definitely improved in the glass, too, so decanting is not out of the question. Dark maroon, and beastly body. Drips with bacon fat, tobacco, anis, and a hint of pencil, all sumptuously integrated. Luscious mouthfeel. Absurd QPR. But is any of this a surprise?
