90 Points

Sunday, June 12, 2011 - Vintage after vintage, one of the best values in wine. The '10s, judging from this first taste, have bruising acidity as a defining characteristic, much more so than the past two vintages, and comparatively little sweetness. That they remain balanced can be credited to the almost fleshy palate of lemon and white pit fruit. The nose has some lemon drop and tart apple, with a fresh floral note. Possibly my favorite vintage of this wine to date, though I'm curious as to how it'll fare in wider opinion.
