Wednesday, October 15, 2014 - Medium gold. Intense Chardonnay nose of crisp fruit, some pear, peach, vanilla, but not tropical or butterscotch. Rich mouthfeel, almost unctuous, but long and intense finish with very good acid backbone. Quite classic RRV Chard, not over the top in intensity a la Kistler or Aubert, but a very nice drink. This is still on the young side of its drinking window but last bottle so others will find out.
