Sunday, November 24, 2013 - Like any petite sirah, this one has the gritty tannins and earthy fruit. The length was great and a smooth finish. Had with a roasted, spicy, meaty dish and worked great. The tannins worked great with the spice and the dried / earthy fruit held up to the meat.
The wine looks Inky colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Dust, and Forest floor. It tastes like and Prune. The body is Full. The wine has Leathery texture. The wine finishes Long.
