Tuesday, December 25, 2012 - i sought out and served this wine for nostalgic reasons. it has been a standby on the holiday table since 2006. served, today, christmas day at selkirk manor. paired with "slipper" lobster tails from esposito. shared with pat, ellen, mahesh, donna, giulio, frankie and grandpa pomponio. this was a little better than last year's bottle but still not as exciting as those that we enjoyed from earlier bottlings. a little shy on the fruit and overly tart. still worth it for the memories it evokes.
