Tuesday, May 3, 2011 - Really quite nice...a reasonable degree of ripeness for the vintage. Some coarse tannins are slightly obtrusive, but the fruit (cherry more than currant or dark berries) is ample, with some cedary notes and minerality. Good freshness for an 03 and fairly evolved for an 8 y.o. Bordeaux.
