Monday, April 13, 2009 - Lots of fruit to the nose, cherry and plum mostly. Decanted 30 minutes. Medium ruby color. Strong plum upfront and long plum finish. Generally soft tannons, almost too soft. The second glass seemed to develop some spiciness to it, which disappeared by the third glass. The long plum finish was too much for me. Too long and too dry. This made me deduct 2 points. Otherwise, a nice approachable wine that's big with fruit and easy to drink and appreciate. This was my 3rd bottle and I'll probably buy more.
