Friday, April 12, 2013 - Had this wine on board of a KLM flight

Vanilla blackcurrant and some sweet tobacco
Full bodied loads of blackcurrant and vanilla. The finish is very long and remains fresh, though with a slight bitter hint.
Perhaps I would find this wine over oaked and over extracted under normal circumstances. But I actually quite liked it on this flight. Actually one of the better wines I had while flying. Good selection for this dry environment where aromas usually are not very expressive.
