Saturday, July 14, 2012 - An outstanding to exceptional wine. This is the fifth of ten bottles I bought in a Wine Library "twin pack" with the Cliff Lede Cab, three plus years ago. I only wish I had bought a case of each; probably one of the better wine purchases I've ever made.
This is aging wonderfully, with aromas and flavors of dark black and blue berries, underscored with a touch of vanilla. Definitely showing some complexity, but with a New World flair. Tannins are well integrated and approachable at this juncture. Very balanced. Extraordinary finish; enjoy with a chargrilled cut of beef. Easily a $100+ bottle of wine in a restaraunt. Even at that price, well worth it! A producer to look for...
Decant as it's throwing some sediment. Only wish I had bought more!
