Thursday, May 9, 2013 - Antonio Vallana Vertical: 2010-1954 (Del Posto Restaurant, NYC): Complex perfumed nose. Thick and youthful in the mouth. An amazingly youthful wine. Long, complex, bright red fruit. Will likely improve for another decade and last forever! Hands down wine of the night.

7/17/2014 8:41:00 AM - Ken, I was fortunate to try this in April, when I visited them. Agree, it seems like it will live forever. It could do another two decades without any effort. So dark, so beautiful. (so young!) in the margin of my notebook I wrote "pay any price". Dreamy.
