Saturday, October 1, 2005 - Closed, slightly acidic/harsh upon opening. Within an hour of opening, blackberry and spice most pronounced aroma and flavor. Still ever so slightly acidic with a warm and oak undertone. Finish was lacking, but probably due to lack of overall fruit flavor. Alcohol and tannins perfectly blend. After two hours, acidic taste gone, but could have been my taste buds. Good wine.
