Thursday, May 16, 2013 - Decanted 90 mins. ahead. Cherry-ruby color. Nice nose of black cherries, earth, dark spices. Fruit-forward on the palate, as plum and cassis flavors join clove notes. Acid balance is toward softness. Finishes quickly with very low tannins. A pleasant wine, to be enjoyed quickly and soon. More fruit-laden than when I last tasted it, and simpler.
