Wednesday, March 25, 2015 - I'm a fan of Anderson Valley vinos, so I thought I'd give the Couloir Pinot a try. After reading great reviews on the Prince of Pinot site, I picked up this 2010 from the Londer Vineyard. From the first sip, even with a few pinot-like hints of pine and some berry fruits, this is sappy and has no discernible body. To be fair, this pinot is made in the bigger-is-better, darker fruit style at about 14% ABV. Still, this one is a big PASS for me.
