Friday, June 26, 2015 - Translucent lightly dusky ruby colour. Nose is lovely burnt damp earth. Good red plum fruit. Palate is freshly acidic but with a lot of mature plum and autumn leaves tertiary elements. A bit over - alcoholic on the finish. Rustic rather than sophisticated. Most memorable was the very old-fashioned 'Cordier'-shaped bottle.
