Wednesday, May 13, 2015 - Another brilliant bottle of this spectacular wine. Hard to reconcile the power of the aromas and flavors with the price point, as this wine resounds with a force and impact that I have normally experienced with offerings costing exponentially more. The tannic presence of this particular bottle, however, suggests a longer drinking window lies ahead for the 2009 than the first two bottles of this vintage we have shared since December 2014. I am seeking more of this wine in different vintages as I continue to be compelled by its beautifully beguiling yet seductive charisma.
