Mouth - nice expressive red fruit attack, very crisp but extremely clean and minerally on the midpalate with surprising mouthcoating tannins. Consumed after a weekend of Russian river tasting, and this is much more pure without any of the rootbeer or rhubarb that complicates those wines.
