Saturday, February 4, 2012 - Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Fairly advanced vs. most Jadot 1997s showing mature aromas and flavors. Ripe black cherry and plum with some modest spice. This is rarely made/seen, but Jadot declassifies wine in some vintages from some of its 1er Cru vineyards into this wine. Jadot had very low yields in 1997 so this blend was the result. I think they might have done something similar in 2007.
