Immediate impression of soft chocolate tannin morphs into dark berries followed by tendrils of licorice on one swallow, tar the next, then cigar box. Beautifully rich and round, it continued to evolve throughout the evening. Simply stellar but, unfortunately, not remotely related to subsequent releases. In my opinion, this is the vintage Booker needs to re-locate.
