Saturday, November 28, 2015 - With sautéed scallops, white rice, roasted carrots.
Pretty, almost sparkling, gold.
Nose of pear, pineapple, kiwi - clean and inviting.
Smooth, citrus, smoke, vanilla, fat. A nice fullness to the wine (the alcohol somehow got integrated nicely).
Richer than expected for an estate wine - almost approaching Monte Bello style. Years have been kind to this bottle.
