Wednesday, August 27, 2014 - Nice bottle of wine. Enjoyed it on my birthday with filet mignon and garlic mashed potatoes. Popped and tasted and could tell it needed some air time. Let it breathe about 2 hours in a cabernet decanter and tasted again. Definitely opened up. Nice nose of cabernet scents and full body and smooth in the taste. Boysenberry and black raspberry in the taste with hints of licorice, black plum, and mocha. Long aftertaste. Wine is drinking smooth and well with no overpowering flavors.
