Saturday, October 15, 2016 - Deep ruby color.

Complex and evolving nose of bright cherries, strawberry, fruit pie , savory herbs and a hint of cinnamon.

Full bodied with plenty of acidity and tannin for the appellation.
Lots of red fruit and spice on the palate with a long and generous finish.

The only quibble here is a touch of heat from the high alcohol-although this is still very fresh.

This is drinking fine now and will last another 5 years or so.

I purchased this at the winery in December 2012. Got this for a song (I believe about 15 Euro) and I can't overstate how well my family was treated by the owner and his wife. Amazing estate for the price/quality ratio .
