Tuesday, March 19, 2013 - EYE: clear dark ruby with a hint of dusky rose at the rim. NOSE: oak up front backed by red cherry w/hint of jam. PALATE: bright red cherry up front that fades into a bit of spice. ~5s finish, medium-high tannin hangs a good bit longer. OVERALL: at $10 is a nice Rioja, curious if the tannin might lay down with a bit more time. But you won't feel guilty if you can't resist opening another at this QPR.
