Monday, February 4, 2013 - James turns 30 years old (Trenchermen, Chicago IL): Nose: Exactly what you would want from an old school Beaucastel with a good load of funk, black cherries, spice tones, leather, black pepper, and anise seed tones.

Taste: Medium bodied with some nice tannins still existing and some medium acidity. The feel is really gorgeous along with balanced tones of black cherries, spice tones, leather, black pepper, and tobacco tones.

Overall: This really opened up in the glass and showed itself well. This is everything you would want from a Beaucastel.
