Thursday, February 11, 2016 - Amazing nose! Wild sagebrush, raging campfire, crushed strawberry fruit, old pine tree. Mature strawberry fruit with just a hint of funkiness in the mouth. Mid palate is brisk, but carries flavors of charcoal, pipe tobacco, and sweet candied plums. Dynamic finish of eucalyptus that leaves your tongue tingling. Believe it or not, this is not past peak and will hang around for a little while longer. Of course at this age, there are only good bottles.
