90 Points

Wednesday, August 8, 2007 - Mucho Lopez (Il Corso): This wine next to the Bosconia really dramatizes the difference between the two vineyards. This one is broader, harder, and larger in dimension although not as penetrating in flavor. It wafts out of you, whereas the Bosconia seeps into you. It finishes with vivid green tobacco and unfortunately reveals a bit of brett with some air, though fortunately not as much as the '85. Two out of eight called slight corkiness. I didn't see it but am happy to believe it could have shown better.
