At this point I would rate it a 88. But by the time I had my last glass at 7 hours, the pinot was right on. Conclusion: this wine was not ready at 4 years. Judging by the time it took to fully emerge-and it was by far the longest I have had to wait for a pinot in the glass to do so-a 3-5 year rest would not be out of the question. There seems to be enough material to develop and I take that as a good sign.
