Monday, November 19, 2012 - Very tawny and clear. Aromatic with a abundant nose of licorice, cassis and black cherry. Light body with nice acidity and mild balanced tannins. Moderate finish of dark fruit. Still nice after 2 hours with evolving floral nose. This bottle had been correctly stored for 43 years and was a very pleasant surprise at its goodness. We finished the bottle and enjoyed it just for itself - no accompaniment.
