Saturday, April 20, 2013 - My first Bonny Doon and a pleasurable one at that. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I enjoyed my experience with this wine, nonetheless. Three things stuck out, a finish that graced a range of bready, yeasty creaminess, sharp, piquant minerals, and a lovely balancing bitterness. The initial perception was of flabby sweetness, but the finish was graceful, alluring, and complex.
