Tuesday, January 1, 2013 - The nose has subtle mushroom and green pepper notes along with a bit of briar that hangs on the garnet color. The wine is light and fresh with a crisp acidity that opens the palate. The flavors in the mouth are very light, and somewhat masked by the acidity. There is a subtle raspberry and cranberry that briefly holds on the rather short mineral aftertaste finish.
