2010 Brigaldara Valpolicella

Community Tasting Note

Sunday, March 24, 2013 - PnP consumed over 2 nights, served non-blind. Night #1, fresh, like a barrel sample. Flavors are somewhat closed, simple. Night #2, bang!, greatly outweighs the $13 price-tag. Plum, fig, stone. On the medium-bodied palate, less complex than the nose. Nonetheless, impressive structure and composure for such a modestly priced bottle. As honest and traditional as it gets. Superb food wine. 13% abv, drink thru 2016

edit: not too surprsingly, this absolutely sings beside Parm-Regg
