Sunday, June 22, 2008 - Decanted for appx one hour ... wine opened up while drinking. This wine is very well balanced and structured, with cherry and blueberry on the nose, with hints of blackberry as well during sipping. On the palate, the wine was silky and smooth.
We served it with a white Chinook salmon, baked w/olive oil on a bed of kosher salt, roasted peppers and zucchini marinated in garlic, wine vinegar and olive oil, and a classic ceasar salad. The wine complimented the food quite well, and stood well on it's own. A feast!
