Tuesday, December 16, 2014 - I called it "unevolved looking" 4 years ago and so it remained tonight. Some ripe black cherry and pine needle with development of secondary aromatics with air. Medium weight, good sappy core and a little bit of spice, but not that complex and certainly without the extra dimension or cut that one expects of a Grand Cru with this amount of bottle age. A pleasant but ultimately simple drink.
