Sunday, April 26, 2015 - Bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd, high shoulder fill, darkish but transparent colour, good cork, broke down in several pieces, but generaly holding it together. Nose initially closed, but later opening into a mild sweet cherry syrup, stewed fruits, very slight VA. Proper old school claret, mild, light, super silky mouthfeel, very few tannins left, this wine didn't talk loudly, one should listen to its wise wispers, it was a wine for slow, attentive drinking. Generaly in decline and somewhat dried out, but utterly pleasant nevertheless.
