Friday, February 13, 2015 - Dark purple with very little fading at the edge. Smells of oak, vanilla, blackberry and cinnamon. Solid tannin with fresh blackberry and a little tiny bit of the Rutherford earth on the medium length finish. Drinking well now, would hold on 2-3 years to get a little more earth to balance the wine out.
